Hey, Kids! Tell Your Parents Why You Have to Come to Camp Blue Bell

Things are happening this summer at the first official Camp Blue Bell, hosted by Blue Bell Country Club. This is not your typical ho-hum summer camp. Get ready to join other kids (ages 6 to 12) just like you, hang out for a week and take awesome golf lessons from qualified pros.

For your parents’ sake, clue them in that this camp is part of the club’s already-popular Junior Golf Program (unique to Montgomery County and the surrounding Philadelphia area). Explain to them that you’ll also be developing personal skills they admire like honesty, patience, companionship and perseverance (in addition to having the time of your life).

Think your parents need a little more persuasion? Tell them that our snack and lunch programs provide healthy choices like hummus, fruit and sandwich wraps (don’t panic, it's really yummy stuff).

Also, tell them not to worry about what to send with you. We have it all spelled out right here so that they don’t get confused (you know how parents can get). Bring your own Blue Bell Country Club tee T-shirt, shorts, sneakers, bathing suit, towel, sunscreen and a water bottle. Make sure your belongings are labeled, too. It’s that simple!

According to head pro instructor Joey Pohle, “Parents in the area are already well aware of the successful camp programs at Blue Bell Country Club from past experience,” so you shouldn't have to spend a whole bunch of time explaining the details to Mom and Dad.

So start working on getting your adults to sign you up right away. Choose from two different sessions (July 10–14 and July 17–21), and sign up soon—spots fill up quickly (36 kids per session), and we don’t want you to miss being the coolest kid in your neighborhood!
