Swing Into Golf Season at Blue Bell Country Club

We always excitedly anticipate the beginning another golf season, and this year is no exception. We’re pulling out all the stops at Blue Bell Country Club with major improvements that promise to enhance the overall golfer experience and build upon our family-focused environment unrivaled by other Philadelphia-area country clubs.

Rich Clegg, membership director, says, “The improvements coming to the club this season will take Blue Bell Country Club to a higher level. The previous two years, we remained focused on expanding and enhancing our membership social calendar events, exceeding the expectations of our members through collaborations with local craft breweries, reinventing the Putter’s Grill menu with chef Drew Smalbach and remaining consistent by making family involvement a priority as part of our overall country club experience.”

Looking into 2017, we see not only course improvement but also a new state-of-the-art fire pit area for exclusive member functions—or to just to sit and relax while enjoying the view of the course. Course enhancements include new irrigation systems, bunker reconstruction and cart path restructure—all promising to enhance Blue Bell Country Club as a premier venue.

Particularly exciting this year is the advent of “Free Lesson Day,” one day in May for all members, when our in-house pros illustrate how to improve your swing, line up your putt and remain motivated and limber. Our PGA pros will also explain ways to keep your focus in the game and provide other useful tips.

Additional membership exclusives include free golf cart rental, monthly unlimited weekend clinic programs in April and May, 45-minute “Mommy & Me” clinics designed as part of our summer activity programs for families, as well as weekly “Junior Squad” practices in the evenings as part of our interactive programs for younger players.
