Golf cart rentals now included in Blue Bell Country Club membership


Just as no two golfers are quite alike, no two golf facilities are the same either.

Surrounded by the easygoing elegance of the Blue Bell Country Club lobby, Bill Beisel Jr., who manages the golf club and its coexisting property Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center, is explaining how the 18-hole, Arnold Palmer-designed course at 1800 Tournament Drive in Blue Bell is distinguishing itself from the herd — all in the name of meeting the ever-changing needs of the modern golfer.

“That was the motivation for the changes we made in retooling our membership program,” Beisel said. “The days of going to the club at 8 in the morning without a tee time and getting home at 5 o’clock after a day of gin rummy — those days are gone. They might exist in little pockets here and there, but for the most part they’re not only dying, they’re dead. We always tried to stay ahead of that.”
